乐播传媒 is excited to announce Richard Campbell as the 29th President of the College!

The Board of Trustees鈥檚 approval comes after a rigorous process of interviews and meetings for Campbell, including talks with the Board, the Committee, 乐播传媒 faculty and staff, and a panel of current students.

Hailing from North Carolina, Campbell is a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church who has deep ties to faith-based higher education in the state. He is the son of an NC Hall of Fame Broadcaster and the great-great-grandson of James Archibald Campbell, founder of now Campbell University.

For the past decade, Campbell has served as a senior communications and marketing executive at NC State University鈥檚 College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Auburn University. He鈥檚 led integrated strategies that increased student enrollment, strengthened alumni engagement, and enhanced philanthropic support.

Campbell鈥檚 appointment comes as Dr. Gary Brown, 乐播传媒鈥檚 28th President, prepares for retirement. Dr. Brown has served the College since 2018.
