Give to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½

Related by faith to The United Methodist Church, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is committed to offering a supportive community that nurtures young men and women intellectually, culturally, socially, physically, and spiritually.
Every gift made to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ goes directly towards fulfilling that mission. Your donations help us hire and retain a devoted and accomplished faculty. They assist the college in maintaining a committed honors program that teaches our students leadership and communication skills, supporting over 30 organizations on campus, and continuing to cultivate an athletic program that is nationally recognized.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, the only two-year residential college in North Carolina, can provide opportunities for students to compete at senior colleges and universities and the workforce, benefitting them for the rest of their lives.
Below are some of the ways you can partner with us to help fulfill our mission:
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Fund
Your gift helps the college attract and retain expert faculty, support our academic programs and organizations, maintain our historic campus, and much more. Giving to the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Fund allows the college to use your gift in the most needed areas. Donations to the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Fund significantly impact students, faculty, and staff at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College by providing funds for every facet of daily life.
Student Scholarships
Your gift helps provide financial aid to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students, enabling them to continue their education. Giving to student scholarships makes a direct impact on our students. The Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation is one of our largest donors, with gifts cumulating to over $2.4 million. Its generosity has enabled countless students to attend ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ who would not be able to otherwise.
Programs
Your program contribution gives our students more opportunities and resources. Our incredible programs include the Learning Partners Program, honor societies, and student-led clubs. One of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s premier programs is the Roger G. and Gaile T. Taylor Honors Program. The program offers enhanced learning and travel opportunities and additional scholarship funding to students who demonstrate a high level of interest, initiative, and ability.
Athletics
Your athletic program gift ensures that our student-athletes have the equipment, coaches, and safety gear they need to perform at their best. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ has a long tradition of excellence in athletic competition. Senior institutions consistently seek our graduates, and some athletes have moved successfully into professional sports leagues.
Capital Projects
Your gift to a capital project goes towards maintaining and improving our historic campus. Gifts from alumni and friends helped replace the aging roof on the Tar River Center for History and Culture. The center promotes a sense of community and shared history by helping citizens of all ages and backgrounds explore the rich architecture, culture, and history of the Upper Tar River region of North Carolina.
Endowments
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ invests your endowment gift to grow and support the college in perpetuity. Alumnus John Edwards and his wife, Mattie, established an endowment to help ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College students pursuing a career in Christian education through music. Although the couple is now deceased, their gift continues to support students for many years to come.
