Graduate Breakfast and Baccalaureate Service
Friday, May 16, the Class of 2025 was honored with a breakfast in Duke Dining Hall. Students heard kind words from Alitha Palich, Rev. Laura Wittman, Dr. Jeff Elwell, and student speaker James Green II.
After breakfast, Graduates were directed to United Methodist Church in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ for the Baccalaureate Service. Friends, family, faculty, and staff celebrated the achievements of the Class of '25 as students received honors cords and stoles and heard encouraging words from Campus Chaplain, Rev. Laura Wittman.
2025 Commencement
On Saturday, May 17, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ held the 2025 Commencement Ceremony in the Jones Performing Arts Center (JPAC).
Family, friends, faculty, and staff came to watch the 87 walking graduate sophomores
turn their tassels.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s Class of 2025 included Associate of Arts in General College, Associate
of Science in Business, and Associate of Science in General Science, as well as ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½
College's new science degree programs.
This year’s Commencement featured speeches from Student Speaker Adamris Anore-Basoria
and ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Trustee Glynnis Hill-Chandler.
